The Sophomore Year
Welcome to your 10th grade year! Now is the time to make sure you know what credits you have in order to graduate. Hopefully, you are staying on track to graduate with a good GPA. Maintaining a good GPA will increase your opportunities for scholarships, college choices, and a variety of options beyond high school. Now that you mastered the concept of high school as a freshman, we encourage you to experience all that North Paulding has to offer both inside and outside the classroom. Find talents that you didn’t realize you had. Develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Join a club, audition for a musical, try a new sport, learn to draw – the possibilities are endless!

PSATDid you know that the State of Georgia pays for every first-time 10th grader to take the PSAT? The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test is practice version of the SAT created by the same company, Your results will identify areas that you can address to try and boost your future SAT score. Dual EnrollmentAre you interested in attending college at the same time you're in high school? Are you looking to go full-time to college and earning credits that will count toward your high school diploma? If so, visit our Dual Enrollment page! YouScience The goal of YouScience is to help students uncover their natural abilities and interests. By completing a series of fun and engaging "brain games," students learn where their natural strengths are and how they can leverage their strengths in college and beyond. YouScience uses cutting edge algorithms to uncover data-driven insights about students and their futures. The tool is available to our students at no charge and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. Students can access YouScience by following the directions located HERE |
