The NPHS Counseling Office will use this page to share scholarship information with the student body and their families. Please do not consider this an exhaustive list of available scholarships!
Use the scholarship search sites listed below to help you in your search for available scholarships. We will add specific scholarships to this site as we are made aware of new opportunities. Be aware that most of your financial aid will come from the school you attend. Make sure you establish contact early on with your post-secondary school’s Financial Aid office! |

The Gates Scholarship

The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential. The University of North Georgia has 42 Georgia Military Scholarships (GMS) valued at $70,000 each available for college-bound seniors. The scholarship pays for four years of tuition, fees, room, meals, books, and uniforms at the University of North Georgia in the Corps of Cadets. The ACT student champion award recognizes one student in each state who is persistent, no matter the challenge, and has a goal in mind for after high school. ACT student champions receive a $500.00 scholarship, certificate, plaque and state-level recognition. Qualifications are: If you have taken the ACT and earned a composite score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and can articulate education and career actions.
